Welcome to The Toth Research Group
Professor Anna Brajter-Toth’s
Research Group in the Department of
Chemistry at the University of Florida is an
analytical chemistry group with strong interests in
nanomaterials, electrochemical methods and mass
spectrometry for biological measurements and characterization of
biological redox processes. We develop and characterize new nanomaterials
for electrochemical sensors for sensitive measurements in applications
ranging from immunosensors to detection of cellular stress
markers. We are also developing new methods that
combine electrochemistry, laser spectroscopy
and mass spectrometry for proteomics
and metabolomic analyses.
